NV Marquis de Pomereuil Brut Sélection

Region : Champagne, Côte des Bar “Les Riceys”

Grape Variety : Chardonnay, Pinot meunier, Pinot noir

The Marquis De Pomereuil Sélection is a brut Champagne made from an equal blend of Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay, with 25% reserve wines from the 2014 harvest. It offers expressive aromas of dried fruits, toasted bread, dark fruits, and minty notes. Ample and creamy on the palate, it finishes with a fresh and dynamic finale. Established in 1922 in Les Riceys, one of the oldest cooperatives in Champagne, the brand was launched in the 1980s.

2020 Douhairet-Porcheret Santenay 1er Cru “Les Passetemps”

Grape Variety : Pinot noir

Located in the heart of the renowned Burgundy wine region, the Douhairet-Porcheret family has been upholding a tradition of excellence for nearly 350 years. Soil composed of oolitic limestone, primarily white oolite with a small amount of marl. Wine undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Finally, malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels where the wine is aged for 12 to 14 months. Deep, rich ruby red with a velvety crimson hue and a silky, shimmering appearance. On the nose, it evokes a spring garden, with aromas of red berry and blackcurrant. Robust yet refined, it is both structured and full-bodied, with a firm texture and a wealth of chewy, round tannins, offering a rich and fruity profile.

2020 Oratoire St-Martin Cairanne Réserve des Seigneurs Red

Region : South Rhône Valley, Cairanne

Grape Variety : Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah

The Cairanne Rouge Réserve des Seigneurs from Domaine Oratoire de Saint Martin, located in the Southern Rhône, is crafted from organically and biodynamically grown old vines on varied soils. This blend (40% Grenache Noir, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah, 5% Carignan, 5% Counoise) undergoes manual sorting and slow vinification, with 9-12 months of vat aging. It offers red fruit and blonde tobacco aromas, a smooth tannic structure, and a peppery finish, best enjoyed within 2-6 years. Ideal pairings include grilled flank steak, Tomme des Bauges, or pork shank confit.

2014 Chateau Montlandrie Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

Region : Bordeaux, Castillon Côte de Bordeaux

Grape Variety :
Merlot 75%, Cabernet Franc 20%, Carbernet Sauvignon 5%

The 2014 Montlandrie has a deep garnet color, with a touch of brick. It bursts from the glass with notes of chocolate mint and black cherry preserves, followed by nuances of blackberry preserves, rose oil, and wild sage, plus a hint of licorice. The medium to full-bodied palate has a firm frame of ripe, rounded tannins and well-knit freshness supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing long with a minty kick.
