Domaine History

Thibaud Boudignon, one of the rising stars of the Loire Valley, founded his estate in 2009. Based in Savennières, he is renowned for his meticulous approach, organic farming, and precise winemaking, crafting some of the purest and most elegant expressions of Chenin Blanc today.

Terroir

Clos Frémine is a small walled vineyard in Savennières, planted on shallow schist soils with excellent drainage. This unique terroir contributes to the wine’s energy, minerality, and aromatic complexity, while maintaining remarkable freshness and balance.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale gold color. The nose is vibrant and precise, offering aromas of white flowers, quince, and citrus zest. On the palate, the wine is pure and tense, with sharp minerality, crystalline acidity, and a long, saline finish.

An exceptional Chenin Blanc, combining elegance, purity, and mineral precision — a true reflection of Savennières.

Pairing

Perfect with oysters, grilled fish, lobster, or goat cheeses like Valençay and Crottin de Chavignol.
