Estate History

Founded in 1988 by Jean-Luc Aegerter and now run by his son Paul, Maison Aegerter is a family-owned Burgundy estate committed to producing elegant, terroir-driven wines. The domaine works closely with growers and owns vineyards across some of the region’s most prestigious appellations, including Corton-Vergennes Grand Cru.

Terroir

The Corton-Vergennes Grand Cru vineyard is situated on the renowned Corton hill in the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard’s limestone-rich soils and ideal sun exposure provide the perfect conditions for Chardonnay, resulting in wines with remarkable minerality, power, and finesse.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale gold color. The nose is elegant and complex, offering aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, pear, hazelnut, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, the wine is rich and layered, with creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

A refined and age-worthy Corton Grand Cru — combining richness, tension, and elegance with the signature minerality of the Corton hill.

Pairing

Perfect with lobster, scallops, roasted poultry, creamy mushroom dishes, or aged cheeses like Comté and Beaufort.
