Histoire du Domaine

Founded in 1868, **Domaine Jacques Prieur** is a reference among Burgundy producers, crafting wines from some of the region’s greatest Grands Crus and Premiers Crus. The **Beaune 1er Cru “Champs-Pimonts” White 2016** is a rare white expression from this Premier Cru vineyard, reflecting the estate’s pursuit of elegance, balance, and purity.

Terroir

Located on the southern slopes of Beaune, the **”Champs-Pimonts”** Premier Cru features clay-limestone soils with excellent drainage and sun exposure. These conditions allow the Chardonnay grapes to ripen slowly and evenly, producing wines with aromatic richness, freshness, and mineral precision.

Notes de dégustation

Bright pale gold color with green highlights. The nose is elegant and expressive, offering aromas of white flowers, citrus zest, green apple, and toasted almond, with delicate mineral notes. The palate is creamy and well-balanced, supported by lively acidity and a long, refined, mineral finish.

A fresh and elegant Beaune 1er Cru Chardonnay — combining richness, purity, and finesse, true to the style of Jacques Prieur.

Accords mets-vins

Perfect with grilled fish, scallops, creamy poultry dishes, or soft cheeses like Brie and Chaource. Excellent for festive meals or cellaring.
