Storia della Tenuta

Founded in 1868, **Domaine Jacques Prieur** is one of Burgundy’s most prestigious estates, with vineyards across Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits. The **Beaune Grèves 1er Cru White 2015** is a rare white expression from this historically red-dominant Premier Cru, showcasing the estate’s mastery in crafting balanced, mineral-driven Chardonnays.

Terroir

Located on the slopes of Beaune, the **Grèves** vineyard benefits from clay-limestone soils rich in gravel (“grèves”), promoting excellent drainage and optimal ripeness. The site’s exposure and stony composition give the Chardonnay both roundness and a distinct mineral freshness, with great aging potential.

Note di degustazione

Bright golden color with silver highlights. The nose is complex and elegant, offering aromas of citrus peel, white flowers, pear, and roasted almonds, with a touch of flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is creamy and well-structured, balanced by fresh acidity, with a long, mineral-laced finish.

A rare and elegant white Beaune 1er Cru — combining richness, freshness, and mineral precision, crafted with the finesse of Jacques Prieur.

Abbinamento

Ideal with scallops, grilled fish, poultry with creamy sauce, or soft cheeses like Brie and Chaource. Perfect for festive meals or cellaring.
