Domaine du Vieux Bourg is a small family estate located in the Beaujolais region, known for its traditional approach and focus on expressing the unique character of each cru. The Chénas appellation, one of the ten Beaujolais crus, is prized for its structured, floral, and age-worthy expressions of Gamay.

テロワール

The vineyards are planted on granitic and sandy soils typical of Chénas, with excellent drainage and sun exposure. This terroir enhances the finesse and aromatic intensity of the Gamay grape, while bringing freshness and silky tannins to the wine.

テイスティングノート

Deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose is expressive, offering aromas of red cherries, violets, and subtle spice. On the palate, the wine is smooth and well-balanced, with silky tannins, juicy red fruit, and a long, floral finish.
