Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is a type of Port wine that has been aged in barrel extensively (between 4 to 6 years) before bottling, and is usually being considered as a choice of great value for money. The wine is deep ruby in colour with purple rim. Aromas is concentrated and dense with cooked fruits, blackberry, cassis, black plum, mix spices (cinnamon, clove), licorice, cocoa, mocha, violet, black tea, caramel, toffee and toast. Full bodied, firm structure, grippy tannin, acidity and sweetness is well balanced with flavours of mix spices, toast, wood smoke and caramel. Black cherry compote, mix berry jam and hint of rose pedal on the finish
