Domaine History
Jean-Marc Boillot, grandson of Burgundy legend Étienne Sauzet, has built a reputation for crafting precise and expressive wines since founding his domaine in 1985. Terroir
Located on the southern slopes of Pommard, the Premier Cru Les Jarollières vineyard benefits from clay-limestone soils and optimal sun exposure. This terroir delivers powerful yet elegant wines with firm structure and aging potential.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby color with garnet highlights. The nose is intense and complex, offering aromas of black cherries, licorice, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, the wine is structured and generous, with firm tannins and a long, persistent finish.
A robust and expressive Pommard 1er Cru, combining strength with refinement, ideal for cellaring.
Pairing
Excellent with game meats, beef stew, grilled lamb, or aged cheeses like Comté and Époisses.
