Domaine History
Established in 1904 in the heart of the Languedoc, Domaine Les Creisses is a historic family estate led by Philippe Chesnelong, with the expertise of Louis Mitjavile. The domaine is renowned for crafting structured and generous wines, shaped by Mediterranean influences and thoughtful vineyard care.
Terroir
The vineyards are planted on a mosaic of stony clay-limestone and volcanic soils in Valros, near Pézenas. The Mediterranean climate, with cooling maritime breezes and significant day-night temperature variation, enhances ripening while maintaining balance and freshness.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby color. The nose reveals intense aromas of blackberries, black cherries, garrigue herbs, and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied, offering silky tannins, generous fruit, and a long, elegant, and harmonious finish.
A complex and powerful Languedoc blend, showing both Mediterranean warmth and refined balance — a signature cuvée from Domaine Les Creisses.
Pairing
Perfect with grilled red meats, lamb tagine, duck confit, or Mediterranean roasted vegetables.
