História da vinícola

Orma, located in the heart of Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast, was founded by Antonio Moretti, also known for Tenuta Sette Ponti. Since its creation, the estate has gained recognition for producing outstanding Super Tuscan wines, blending Bordeaux varieties with the elegance and energy of Italian terroir.

Terroir

The vineyards lie on well-drained gravel and sandy soils with clay deposits, under the influence of the Mediterranean climate. These ideal conditions enhance the structure, aromatic complexity, and balance of the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc grapes.

Notas de degustação

Deep ruby with garnet reflections. The nose is intense and complex, showing layers of red and black fruits, sweet spices, cocoa, dry earth, Mediterranean herbs, and hints of tobacco. On the palate, the wine is elegant, dense, and velvety, supported by a sturdy yet ripe tannin structure. Bright acidity brings balance and freshness, leading to a long, persistent finish. Orma offers excellent aging potential.

Matches beautifully with full-flavored dishes such as game, roasted meats, or mature cheeses. Its delicate complexity and purity of fruit also make it a perfect “Vino da Meditazione.”
