Wolf Birkweiler Pfalz Cuvée Kurt is a vibrant and unconventional white blend from Weingut Wolf, a family-run estate in Großkarlbach in Germany’s Pfalz region. Made from eight grape varieties—including Chardonnay, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Blanc—this wine blends two vintages to achieve greater depth and complexity. The grapes are hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented with native yeasts, and the wine is bottled unfiltered to preserve its natural freshness.
Bright straw yellow in color, Cuvée Kurt opens with expressive aromas of gooseberry, citrus, and a touch of red berries. On the palate, it is juicy and fresh, balanced by lively acidity and a subtle creaminess that adds texture. Crafted from grapes grown in the sun-drenched, limestone-rich soils of the Pfalz, this wine reflects both terroir and thoughtful winemaking.
Approachable yet layered, it is ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, salads, or poultry—an exciting expression of modern German white wine.
