Estate History
Maison Aegerter, established in 1988 by Jean-Luc Aegerter and now run by his son Paul, is recognized for crafting terroir-driven wines from Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations. The **Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru** represents one of the crown jewels of their production — a wine of extraordinary power, richness, and finesse, sourced from one of the most celebrated white wine vineyards in the world.
Terroir
Located between the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the **Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru** vineyard is renowned for its shallow clay-limestone soils, ideal for Chardonnay. The perfect combination of sun exposure and soil composition allows for deep concentration, aromatic complexity, and elegant minerality.

On the palate, the wine is opulent and full-bodied, with creamy texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, harmonious, mineral finish.
A majestic Grand Cru Chardonnay — combining power, elegance, and complexity, with superb aging potential.
Pairing
Perfect with lobster, scallops, creamy fish dishes, roasted poultry with truffle, or aged cheeses like Comté or Beaufort.
