Terroir

The Fleurie vineyards of Château de la Chaize are planted on pink granite soils, at an altitude of 300 to 400 meters. This exceptional terroir brings minerality, freshness, and aromatic intensity to the Gamay grape, perfectly expressing the elegance of the Fleurie appellation.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant ruby color with violet highlights. The nose is floral and expressive, dominated by aromas of peony, rose, and red fruits. On the palate, the wine is silky and fresh, with fine tannins and a long, delicate finish.

A refined and aromatic Fleurie, offering both finesse and freshness — ideal for sharing in a magnum format.

Pairing

Perfect with roast chicken, charcuterie, grilled vegetables, or soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.
