Estate History

Founded by Laurent Vaillé in the early 1990s, Domaine de la Grange des Pères quickly became a cult reference in Languedoc. Inspired by the greatest wines of France, the estate produces rare and sought-after cuvées, known for their depth, finesse, and impressive aging potential.

Terroir

Located in the Hérault backcountry, the vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils with rounded pebbles. The Mediterranean climate, combined with altitude and low yields, allows for perfect grape ripening while preserving balance and freshness.

Tasting Notes

Deep garnet color. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant, garrigue herbs, sweet spices, and leather. On the palate, the wine is rich, silky, and structured, with fine tannins, concentrated dark fruit, and a long, elegant finish marked by mineral and spicy notes.

An iconic Languedoc wine, combining power, elegance, and complexity — crafted for long-term aging.

Pairing

Perfect with game, ribeye steak, herb-crusted lamb, or aged cheeses.
