Histoire du domaine 

Domaine de l’Hortus, located in the heart of the Pic-Saint-Loup appellation in the Languedoc, has been managed by the Orliac family since the 1970s. Renowned for their commitment to precision and respect for nature, the family produces elegant and expressive wines that showcase the unique terroir of the region.

Terroir 

The vineyards are set between limestone cliffs and forested slopes, benefiting from cool nights and warm days. This microclimate, combined with clay-limestone soils, brings freshness, aromatic complexity, and balance to the wines.

Notes de dégustation

Deep ruby color with purple highlights. The nose reveals aromas of blackberries, red cherries, Mediterranean herbs, and subtle spices. On the palate, the wine is juicy, smooth, and balanced, with soft tannins and a fresh, elegant finish.
