Aspetto: Pale, bright yellow with greenish highlights, reflecting its youth and vibrancy. The clarity is crystalline, promising freshness.

Nose: Fresh and lifted, opening with aromas of white flowers (acacia, hawthorn) and citrus zest. Notes of green apple, pear, and white peach emerge, intertwined with subtle hints of almond and a chalky, wet-stone minerality.

Palate: The entry is crisp and precise, characteristic of Limoux’s cool-climate terroir. The wine displays pure, expressive fruit framed by a fine mineral edge. A silky yet taut texture carries lively acidity, leading to a long, saline, and citrus-inflected finish with excellent clarity.

Abbinamenti gastronomici: Ideal with grilled sea bass, seafood risotto, goat cheese salad, or roast chicken with thyme and lemon.

Château Grand Baril, situato a Montagne Saint-Émilion, è dedicato alla coltivazione biologica, e la sua cuvée Gaïa è una chiara espressione di questa filosofia. Questo Bordeaux biologico è prodotto con uve Merlot coltivate su suoli tipici della regione — argilloso-calcarei e sabbiosi — che offrono un terroir equilibrato, contribuendo alla complessità aromatica e alla struttura elegante del vino.

Con un colore rosso rubino profondo, il naso del vino si apre con note affumicate e tostate di ciliegia e caffè tostato. Al palato, il vino è piacevole e ben equilibrato, offrendo un volume generoso e una persistenza aromatica raffinata con una consistenza setosa.
