Storia della Tenuta

Maison Aegerter, founded in 1988 by Jean-Luc Aegerter and now led by his son Paul, is known for producing elegant, terroir-driven wines across Burgundy’s finest appellations. The **Montrachet Grand Cru** represents the ultimate expression of Chardonnay, sourced from one of the most prestigious vineyards in the world, where power meets refinement and longevity.

Terroir

Situated between Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the **Montrachet Grand Cru** vineyard benefits from perfect southeast exposure and shallow, limestone-rich soils. These ideal conditions allow for optimal ripening of the Chardonnay grapes, resulting in wines of exceptional concentration, complexity, and balance.

Note di degustazione

Brilliant golden yellow color. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas of citrus zest, white peach, acacia flowers, toasted almonds, honey, and subtle hints of vanilla and flint. On the palate, the wine is powerful yet incredibly elegant, with creamy texture, precise acidity, and a long, mineral, and persistent finish.

A legendary Grand Cru Chardonnay — combining richness, structure, and finesse, with exceptional aging potential.

Abbinamento

Perfect with lobster, scallops, turbot, foie gras, creamy poultry dishes, or aged cheeses like Comté and Beaufort.
