Founded in 1344 and renowned for its Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Château Mont-Redon also crafts fine wines in the Lirac appellation. With generations of expertise and a commitment to sustainable viticulture, the estate produces wines that showcase the richness and balance of the Rhône Valley terroirs.

Terroir

The Lirac vineyards are situated on terraces of rounded pebbles and red clay soils, similar to those of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. These well-drained soils, combined with Mediterranean sunshine and the Mistral wind, allow for perfect grape ripening and aromatic intensity.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby color. The nose reveals ripe blackberries, cherries, and notes of garrigue herbs with a touch of spice. On the palate, the wine is generous and silky, with smooth tannins, juicy fruit, and a fresh, balanced finish.
