Domaine History

Founded in 1903, Lupé-Cholet is a historic Burgundy house renowned for its elegant, terroir-driven wines. The estate carefully vinifies grapes from some of Burgundy’s most prestigious vineyards, combining tradition with modern expertise to bring out the finest expression of each parcel.

Terroir

From the legendary slopes of Corton-Charlemagne, the Grand Cru vineyards are rooted in limestone and marl soils. This terroir, exposed to optimal sun and cool winds, offers perfect conditions for Chardonnay, bringing minerality, freshness, and complexity to the wine.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale gold with green highlights. The nose is elegant and expressive, showing aromas of citrus, white peach, hazelnut, and light buttery notes. On the palate, the wine is rich and structured, with vibrant acidity, layered fruit, and a long, mineral-driven finish.

A precise and noble Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru, combining power, freshness, and great aging potential — a true ambassador of Burgundy’s finest whites.

Pairing

Excellent with lobster, scallops, creamy poultry dishes, or aged cheeses such as Comté and Beaufort.
