Domaine History

Domaine Balansa is a small family-run estate located in the Vallée du Paradis, in the Corbières region. Led by Lionel Balansa, the domaine is committed to biodynamic and regenerative farming, crafting vibrant, living wines with minimal intervention and maximum respect for nature.

Terroir

The vines are rooted in schist soils at around 200 meters altitude, surrounded by garrigue and pine forests. This Mediterranean terroir, rich in biodiversity, brings freshness, energy, and character to the wine.

Tasting Notes

La Vinhota 2023 shows a lively ruby color with a fragrant nose of red berries, dried herbs, and smoky mineral notes. The carbonic maceration gives a juicy, lifted texture with crunchy fruit, fine tannins, and a refreshing finish.

A playful and natural red wine—fresh, aromatic, and full of Southern charm.
