Histoire du domaine 

Château du Cèdre is a benchmark estate in Cahors, passionately led by the Verhaeghe family. Committed to organic viticulture and low-intervention winemaking, the domaine crafts authentic Malbec wines that highlight the richness and identity of the terroir.

Terroir 

The vineyards lie on limestone plateaus and clay-gravel terraces along the Lot Valley. This mosaic of soils brings both structure and elegance to the wines, while the sunny southwest exposure ensures optimal grape ripening.

Notes de dégustation

Deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose reveals blackberries, violets, and subtle spicy notes. On the palate, the wine is structured yet silky, with ripe tannins and a long, balanced finish marked by freshness and minerality.
