Histoire du domaine
Founded in 1344, Château Mont-Redon is one of the historic estates of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The estate covers over 100 hectares of vines and is known for its commitment to quality, sustainable viticulture, and precise winemaking, producing elegant and powerful wines that respect the traditions of the Rhône Valley.
Terroir
The vineyards are planted on the famous rolled pebbles (galets roulés) over clay and limestone soils, a terroir that retains heat and ensures optimal ripening of the grapes. The Mediterranean climate, combined with the Mistral wind, contributes to the health of the vines and the concentration of the fruit.
Notes de dégustation
Deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe black fruits, spices, garrigue, and a subtle touch of leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins, rich fruit flavors, and a long, balanced finish.
Powerful and elegant, this Châteauneuf-du-Pape offers depth, complexity, and excellent aging potential.
Accords mets-vins
Perfect with grilled lamb, duck breast, beef stew, or aged cheeses like Manchego or Roquefort.
