Histoire du Domaine

Family-owned for three generations, **Domaine Grossot** is located in Fleys, at the heart of the Chablis region. The estate is known for producing wines that reflect purity, precision, and respect for terroir. The **Chablis 1er Cru “Mont de Milieu” 2018** comes from one of the best Premier Cru sites, renowned for its rich history and ideal southeast-facing slopes along the right bank of the Serein River.

Terroir

The **”Mont de Milieu”** vineyard lies on Kimmeridgian limestone soils rich in fossilized oyster shells, which give the wine its signature minerality and tension. The southeastern exposure ensures optimal sunlight, promoting full ripeness while preserving freshness and elegance in the Chardonnay grapes.

Notes de dégustation

Brilliant pale gold color. The nose reveals intense aromas of lemon zest, white flowers, green apple, and flinty minerality. On the palate, the wine is precise and vibrant, with a beautiful balance between roundness and fresh acidity, leading to a long, saline, and mineral-driven finish.

A structured and mineral-driven Chablis 1er Cru — offering purity, energy, and finesse, true to the style of Domaine Grossot.
