Estate History
The Speri family, established in the Valpolicella region since the 19th century, is one of the historical producers of Valpolicella wines. The **”Sant’Urbano”** Valpolicella Classico Superiore comes from their renowned Monte Sant’Urbano vineyard, offering a superior expression of Valpolicella with depth, balance, and elegance.
Terroir
The **Monte Sant’Urbano** vineyard is located on limestone and volcanic soils at an altitude of 280 to 350 meters in the heart of Valpolicella Classico. A portion of the grapes undergoes a short drying process, enhancing aromatic concentration while preserving freshness and vibrancy in the wine.
