Estate History

Domaine Les Grandes Vignes, a historic family estate located in Thouarcé, Anjou (Loire Valley), has been farmed organically and biodynamically since 1998. The Vaillant family’s philosophy is centered around natural winemaking with no additives, showcasing the energy of the land and the authenticity of each grape variety.

Terroir

Planted on schist and sandy soils, the Groslot (Grolleau Noir) and Cabernet Franc vines benefit from Anjou’s temperate climate and gentle slopes. These conditions allow the grapes to fully express freshness, aromatic purity, and vibrant acidity — perfect for crafting lively pétillant naturel wines.

Tasting Notes

Beautiful pale pink with fine, natural bubbles. The nose is fragrant and fresh, with notes of red berries, citrus peel, and delicate floral hints. The palate is light, crisp, and refreshing, featuring bright red fruit flavors, gentle effervescence, and a clean, dry, mineral finish.

A joyful and pure pétillant naturel rosé — unfiltered, with no added sulfites, offering a vibrant and natural expression of Groslot and Cabernet Franc.

Pairing

Perfect as an aperitif, or paired with summer salads, seafood, grilled vegetables, or soft goat cheese.
