酒莊介紹

Classified as Premier Cru Classé in 1855, **Château Suduiraut** is one of the great names of Sauternes. Located in Preignac, adjacent to Château d’Yquem, the estate benefits from exceptional terroir and climatic conditions ideal for the development of **Botrytis cinerea** (noble rot). With a history dating back to the 15th century, Château Suduiraut produces wines of remarkable richness, complexity, and longevity.

風土條件

The vineyards are planted on gravelly sand over clay soils, which ensure excellent drainage and promote concentration in the grapes. The morning mists from the Ciron and Garonne rivers encourage the spread of noble rot, concentrating sugars, acidity, and aromatic compounds in the berries.

釀造工藝

Harvested by hand through successive pickings (tries) to select only botrytized grapes, the must is slowly fermented in French oak barrels, 50% of which are new. The wine is then aged for 18 to 24 months in barrels, allowing it to develop its rich texture, complexity, and aromatic finesse while maintaining balance and freshness.

品飲筆記

Golden yellow with brilliant reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of candied apricots, honey, pineapple, marmalade, vanilla, and toasted almonds, lifted by floral and citrus notes. On the palate, the wine is luscious and opulent, with silky texture, vibrant acidity, and great precision. Layers of tropical fruit, orange peel, and spice lead to a long, elegant, and beautifully fresh finish. The 2009 vintage stands out for its richness, balance, and exceptional aging potential.

A majestic Sauternes from a great vintage—rich, complex, and perfectly balanced between sweetness and acidity, promising decades of graceful aging.

餐酒搭配

Perfect with foie gras, blue cheeses like Roquefort, fruit tarts, crème brûlée, or spicy Asian dishes. Also excellent as an aperitif or with roasted poultry and fruit sauces.
