Château History

Second wine of Château Gruaud Larose, a Grand Cru Classé since 1855, Sarget de Gruaud Larose embodies the same values of tradition and excellence. Located in the Saint-Julien appellation of the Médoc, the estate benefits from centuries of know-how and a deep respect for the vineyard. The château is renowned for its sustainable approach and meticulous winemaking, aiming to produce wines of elegance and character.

風土條件

The vineyards lie on deep Garonne gravel soils, typical of the Médoc, providing excellent drainage and heat retention. This terroir, combined with the mild Atlantic climate, allows for perfect ripening of the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, giving the wine structure, depth, and balance.

品飲筆記

Deep ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose reveals aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and hints of cedar and tobacco. On the palate, it is supple and well-balanced, with silky tannins and a lingering, elegant finish.
