Historia del Fundo

Founded in 1868, **Domaine Jacques Prieur** is one of Burgundy’s rare estates with vineyards in all the greatest appellations, from Montrachet to Chambertin. The **Montrachet Grand Cru** represents the pinnacle of the domaine’s white wine production, embodying the perfect alliance between power, refinement, and minerality that defines this legendary climat.

Terruño

Located between the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the **Montrachet Grand Cru** vineyard rests on thin clay-limestone soils rich in marl and minerals. The ideal sun exposure and exceptional drainage of this site allow the Chardonnay grapes to achieve perfect ripeness while maintaining freshness and balance.

Notas de cata

Bright golden color with green reflections. The nose is complex and intense, offering aromas of white flowers, citrus peel, pear, hazelnut, and brioche, with subtle mineral undertones. On the palate, the wine is rich, full-bodied, and creamy, balanced by vibrant acidity and a long, precise, and mineral-driven finish.

An exceptional Montrachet Grand Cru — powerful yet elegant, with extraordinary depth, aromatic complexity, and aging potential.

Maridaje

Perfect with lobster, scallops, creamy fish dishes, foie gras, or aged cheeses like Comté and Beaufort.
