Histoire du Domaine

Founded by Laurent Vaillé in the early 1990s, Domaine de la Grange des Pères has earned cult status as one of the most iconic estates in the Languedoc. Known for its meticulous craftsmanship and low-intervention philosophy, the estate produces both red and white wines of exceptional balance, depth, and longevity.

Terroir

The white vines are planted on limestone-rich soils with rocky scree in the Hérault Valley. The Mediterranean climate, tempered by altitude, allows for slow ripening of the grapes, enhancing aromatic complexity, freshness, and minerality — key elements of the estate’s white wines.

Notes de dégustation

Golden yellow color with slight amber reflections due to age. The nose is complex and evolved, showing aromas of honey, dried apricot, toasted almonds, white flowers, and subtle oxidative notes. On the palate, the wine is rich and layered, with smooth texture, vibrant acidity, and a long, mineral finish, demonstrating the beautiful aging capacity of this rare white cuvée.

An exceptional aged white from Grange des Pères — complex, refined, and persistent, with remarkable balance between maturity and freshness.

Accords mets-vins
