Storia della Tenuta

Domaine de la Grange des Pères, founded by Laurent Vaillé in the early 1990s, is one of the most iconic estates of the Languedoc. With limited production and a philosophy rooted in precision and respect for the terroir, the estate has achieved cult status among wine lovers worldwide for its elegant, long-lived wines.

Terroir

The vineyards are located in the Hérault Valley, planted on poor, rocky limestone soils with galets roulés. The Mediterranean climate, softened by altitude, allows slow and balanced ripening of the grapes, providing power, freshness, and great aging potential.

Note di degustazione

Deep garnet red color. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas of blackberries, cassis, garrigue herbs, licorice, and subtle notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins, ripe dark fruit, and a persistent, mineral finish.

A powerful and elegant vintage from Grange des Pères, showing depth, balance, and remarkable finesse — a true benchmark for the region.

Abbinamento

Perfect with venison, roasted lamb, beef Wellington, or aged cheeses such as Comté or Manchego.
