Domaine History
Lionel Osmin & Cie celebrates the grape varieties of Southwest France, working with passionate local growers. With “Fer de Soif,” the estate revisits Marcillac’s historic grape, Fer Servadou, offering a juicy, accessible expression of this often underappreciated cépage, made for immediate pleasure and conviviality.
Terroir
The Marcillac vineyards are nestled in the Aveyron, on iron-rich red clay soils called “rougier.” This terroir enhances the spicy and fruity character of Fer Servadou, while the cool Pyrenean breezes help maintain freshness and balance in the wines.
Tasting Notes
Brilliant ruby red color. The nose bursts with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, and hints of black pepper and fresh herbs. The palate is light and vibrant, with crunchy red fruit, silky tannins, and a refreshing, slightly spicy finish.
A playful and thirst-quenching Marcillac — pure fruit, pure pleasure — to enjoy slightly chilled for maximum freshness.
Pairing
Ideal with charcuterie boards, grilled sausages, roast chicken, or summer salads.
