Domaine History
Château de la Terrière, located in Cercié at the heart of Beaujolais, is one of the oldest estates in the region, with a history dating back to the 16th century. Today, the estate focuses on organic and sustainable farming, crafting authentic wines that respect both tradition and nature. The “Vin Sauvage à Poil” is an unfiltered, natural Régnié, bottled without sulfites to showcase the purest expression of Gamay.
Terroir
The vines are planted on pink granite soils typical of Régnié, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais. These well-drained soils and hillside exposures provide excellent conditions for healthy vine growth, aromatic expression, and freshness in the Gamay grapes.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby color with purple reflections. The nose is wild and expressive, featuring aromas of red berries, black cherries, violets, and earthy notes. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fresh, and vibrant, with silky tannins and a lively, fruit-driven finish.
A pure and natural Régnié, unfiltered and without added sulfites — juicy, wild, and bursting with character.
Pairing
Perfect with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled vegetables, or goat cheese.
