Estate History

Maison Aegerter, founded in 1988 by Jean-Luc Aegerter and now led by his son Paul, is known for crafting elegant and precise wines across Burgundy’s top appellations. With a focus on terroir expression and balance, their **Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésirs** showcases the purity, tension, and minerality that define this exceptional vineyard.

Terroir

Vaudésirs is one of the most prestigious Grand Cru climats of Chablis, located on steep slopes with southeast exposure and Kimmeridgian limestone soils. These conditions provide excellent drainage and sun exposure, ensuring full ripeness while preserving the bright acidity and minerality characteristic of Chablis Grand Cru wines.

Tasting Notes

Brilliant pale gold color. The nose is elegant and complex, with aromas of citrus zest, white peach, acacia, and subtle notes of almond and flint. On the palate, the wine is precise and layered, combining rich texture with vibrant acidity, and finishing with a long, mineral-driven persistence.

A refined and powerful Chablis Grand Cru — pure Chardonnay expression with great balance between richness, freshness, and minerality.

Pairing

Perfect with oysters, scallops, grilled fish, lobster, or creamy poultry dishes.
