Estate History

Maison Aegerter, established in 1988 by Jean-Luc Aegerter and now run by his son Paul, is recognized for its dedication to terroir expression and elegance. Their **Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésirs** highlights the finesse and minerality of this exceptional climat, offering a pure and refined expression of Chardonnay from one of Chablis’ most prestigious vineyards.

Terroir

The Vaudésirs Grand Cru vineyard lies on steep, southeast-facing slopes with Kimmeridgian limestone soils, rich in marine fossils. These soils, combined with optimal sun exposure, allow for perfect ripening of the Chardonnay while preserving the signature freshness and minerality of Chablis Grand Cru wines.

Tasting Notes

Bright pale gold color. The nose is elegant and intense, with aromas of lemon zest, white peach, acacia flowers, and hints of almond and wet stone. On the palate, the wine is rich yet vibrant, offering silky texture, precise acidity, and a long, saline, mineral finish.

A pure and powerful Chablis Grand Cru — balancing richness, minerality, and freshness with great aging potential.

Pairing

Ideal with oysters, scallops, lobster, grilled fish, or creamy poultry dishes like chicken with morels.
