“Komboi”, The English name of the restaurant is a homophone of the Taiwanese phrase “empty plate,” expressing the hope that guests will fully enjoy their meal and leave feeling so satisfied that they clear their plates completely. The dining space features a simple and comfortable design, accented with brown tables and chairs and light-colored pendant lamps, creating a relaxing atmosphere.

The owner and head chef once lived in France, where he built a strong foundation in culinary techniques. He now combines those skills with his own creative touch to craft a series of refined contemporary dishes.

Made with 1/3 Chardonnay, 1/3 Pinot Noir, 1/3 Pinot Meunier. Marquis de Pomereuil Reflet Brut expresses the classic character of the Champagne region through its chalky soils and cool climate. Chardonnay brings citrus lift, white flowers, and precision; Pinot Noir adds structure and subtle red apple depth; Pinot Meunier contributes roundness and soft fruit charm. Slow ripening preserves vibrant acidity, while lees aging enhances creamy texture and fine mousse. Notes of green apple, lemon zest, and light brioche reflect both terroir and traditional method, finishing crisp, elegant, and refreshingly mineral.

Château Grand Baril, located in Montagne Saint-Émilion, is dedicated to organic farming, and their Gaïa cuvée is a testament to this philosophy. This organic Bordeaux is made from Merlot grapes grown on the region’s typical clay-limestone and sandy soils, which provide a balanced terroir that contributes to the wine’s aromatic complexity and elegant structure.

With a deep ruby red color, the wine’s nose opens with smoky, toasty notes of cherry and roasted coffee. On the palate, the wine is pleasant and well-balanced, offering a generous volume and a refined, aromatic persistence with a silky texture. Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is a type of Port wine that has been aged in barrel extensively (between 4 to 6 years) before bottling, and is usually being considered as a choice of great value for money. The wine is deep ruby in colour with purple rim. Aromas is concentrated and dense with cooked fruits, blackberry, cassis, black plum, mix spices (cinnamon, clove), licorice, cocoa, mocha, violet, black tea, caramel, toffee and toast. Full bodied, firm structure, grippy tannin, acidity and sweetness is well balanced with flavours of mix spices, toast, wood smoke and caramel. Black cherry compote, mix berry jam and hint of rose pedal on the finish
