Estate History

FrèreJean Frère is a family-owned Champagne house dedicated to crafting fine, terroir-driven cuvées. Working exclusively with grapes from Premier Cru vineyards, the house emphasizes precision, elegance, and balance in all its wines. Their Extra Brut Premier Cru reflects a commitment to purity and freshness, with minimal dosage enhancing the natural expression of the fruit and terroir.

Terroir

The grapes are sourced from Premier Cru vineyards across the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs regions. Chalky limestone soils and optimal sun exposure bring finesse, minerality, and complexity to the blend, while the cool Champagne climate preserves acidity and freshness.

Tasting Notes

Pale gold with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is elegant and precise, with aromas of green apple, lemon zest, brioche, and subtle white flowers. On the palate, the wine is crisp and linear, with bright acidity, delicate fruit, and a mineral-driven, refreshing finish.

A refined and vibrant Extra Brut Champagne — focused on purity, tension, and elegance, offering a true expression of Premier Cru terroirs.

Pairing

Perfect as an aperitif, or paired with oysters, sushi, sashimi, seafood platters, or hard cheeses like aged Comté.
