Terroir

The Frankstein Grand Cru is characterized by its granite soils, excellent drainage, and hillside exposure, offering ideal conditions for slow grape maturation and concentration of sugars. The late harvest allows the grapes to achieve full ripeness, often with noble rot, enhancing aromatic complexity and natural sweetness while preserving freshness.
